Update. I was almost sure with fenix software update 15.20 battery extreme drain should be fixed. Today I have performed a run with inReach mini connected to my fenix 6X Pro Solar. Unfortunately when I finished this run battery goes to be empty as it was with a previous firmware. Nothing fixed. It is real shame for Garmin.
First, with LiveTrack off, running mode, GPS connected outdoors, GLONASS disabled, Smart data recording, Smart Notifications disabled. I stopped it after 10 hrs 8 min, with 42% battery used. At that rate the total runtime would've been just over 24 hours, which is the factory rating. Then another test with the same settings but LiveTrack turned on.

Garmin Fenix 7s battery draining fast. I have noticed issue with my Fenix 7s and I am wondering if anyone has seen a same issues. Basicly the watch consumes battery around 1.5-2% per hour. As an example I had it on charger yesterday, put it on the wrist around 10pm, woke up at 7am, and during that time the charge dropper from 100% to 87%.
Same with mi Fenix 5X plus ! About 0.3%-0.5% battery per hour , but after the activity with GPS, the consumption started to be about 1.3%-1.6% battery per hour. Same for both sw 11 and sw 11.73beta. It always helped to restart, but only to the next activity with GPS. Now I downgraded to sw 9.10, so hopefully it will be good. I will test and see
Nothing change after 14.72 software installation. Still my Fenix 6 X battery keeps only ~ 72 hours, ~1.3%/h, ~31.27%/day GomJabbar over 3 years ago in reply to PolishSeaman +1 Same behavior for me after updating to 14.72 beta. Went for a 3h15min run this morning and the watch went from 100% battery to 43% !
Added support for a new HR gauge data screen (Settings > Apps > Activity > Data Screens > HR Gauge). Added support for audio lap alerts in Garmin Connect Mobile. (GCM > Garmin Devices > Fenix 3 > Audio Alerts > Lap Alerts) Added support for viewing GPS state before starting a workout. Added support for a new 'MOB' (Man Overboard) hot key option. LxMum.
