Well i mean if you only want to play pokemon sword or shield but don't have a switch, buying one probably wouldn't be worth it. It depends on how much you want to play it or if you have enough money. If you have a pc try yuzu switch emulator, but it won't feel the same as owning the console. The choice is yours.
