SR is the designation for heavy straight taper. I have a 24" Varmint SR barrel for the 455, it tapers to .650 at the muzzle, and has a threaded muzzle with muzzle protector. I did see on the CZ website that there are 3 grades of barrel. Regular SR for $150, MTR SR for $299, and MTR SR long range for $319. Beyond the MTR being a match chamber
The RAR feels like a cheap rifle in an even cheaper plastic stock. The CZ feels like a hunting rifle. I ended up topping mine with a nice leather sling and a Weaver RV-7 2.5-7x for woods duty.
